Mission Statement

Pro Support's Mission is to assist innovative companies with their Research & Development efforts, in particular with obtaining funding for their projects and providing non-technical activities to support this, such as proposal preparation, partner search and project co-ordination.

Business Philosophy

Pro Support's business philosophy is to support our clients 'from cradle to grave', i.e. taking all the non-technical work out of the hands of the engineers and researchers. Indeed, most R&D workers have a technical background and simply want to focus on what they do best: perfom R&D work! Unfortunately, there are external forces that distract them from this. Probably the most important issue is money: R&D work requires sufficient budgets. To obtain these budgets, the R&D workers need to go through time-consuming proposal writing and tedious budget preparations, whether it is internal funding for an innovative idea or applying for an external grant. Because the R&D people dislike it, it takes more time to finish the proposals and associated budgets.

Pro Support has been set up to break this vicious circle. Our staff consists of high-skilled professionals with a sound technical background, so communications go smoothly and true 'added value' is achieved.
Pro Support assists in obtaining funding for R&D projects by taking virtually all of the non-technical work out of the hands of the R&D workers, from project preparation to project closure.

Pro Support offers its services usually on a 'no grant, no fee' basis. In this case, a small down-payment is required to underline there is a real commitment and to cover initial costs. This down-payment will be returned should the proposal be rejected. Alternatively, Pro Support can be hired against a lump-sum or on an hourly basis.
